The YesKids series is based on 2 Corinthians 1:20-22. God’s promises are stamped with a big YES! from Jesus, who is the centre of everything we preach, teach and pray. Jesus is God’s great Amen (so be it). When we say YES! to Jesus, the Bible tells us, God affirms us, making us a sure thing in Christ, putting his Yes within us (The Message). The YesKids Bible Story Series helps children to be YesKids who say a big Yes! to following Jesus. Each story is accompanied by a prayer to help children connect with God and a Christian value that reinforces the story. The books include guidelines for helping children with faith-building, vocabulary, numeracy and reading skills and emotional development.
